Strategy analysis & organisation
Lennart Ohlsson became interested in strategy analysis in the 1970ęs and 1980s in connection with policy analysis. His first strategy advice to enterprises came after studies in 1987 and 1989 of the implications of the so-called EEC White Paper reforms, studies on Swedish Industry.

Practical experience in strategy analysis came as a co-founder of a specialised venture stock market in Sweden in 1993 and as chairman and co-founder of IM Innovation Managers Inc.
His book on Best Practice Venture Capital has led to more than half of the chapters focussed on strategy analysis.

Comparative Advantages & Specialisation.
Lennart Ohlsson has analysed the changes of Sweden's comparative advantages. He identified via empirical studies the shift in comparative advantages from the historical one in several
publications, some empirical, others policy oriented.
He predicted in 1996 that leading economies would have to base their specilisation on "the creativity factor".

Ohlsson consult on a variety of topics ranging from venture strategy & venture capital to R&D and high-tech enterprising. He is also a specialist on interface designs of universities and businesses, the establishment of effective technology parks etc.
